:Narrative Project Preface Welcome! This following section will be an introduction into how I wrote my narrative project. It will also have links to blog post #3, 4, 5, 6 that will give you a little more insight into my writing process for my narrative project. In blog post #3 letter to my author self, blog post #4 writing process, blog post #5 unforgettable and blog post #6 which is a revision of blog post #5 telling myself a different story: A Memoir Counterfactual. When creating my first draft, I decide to take a different approach when it came to how everything happen when that unforgettable day came about.
Whenever I have written narratives for school in the past, I have felt over the top and ready to write. I loved writing about myself because, I feel like I have made so many accomplishments threw out my 36 years of living. Of course I've had some ups and down but who hasn't. I've learn to take them challenges and turn them into a story. A story I hope touches someone one day, if not today.
The Narrative Project is about an emotional moment in my life that affected me a lot. This emotional moment took me from a happy place in my life to a sad one. In this story I had to reflect back on life's unchanging moments. A moment I know I will never forget. That time when God took my sister and other family members away from me. As the years grew, I became stronger and stronger with every memory. I'm better at dealing with it now, and I know that my sister is looking down on me proud of what I have accomplish. I hope when you read my narrative story that you cherish every moment with the ones you love.
