Hello to my wonderful English writers. Welcome back to my blog post. This week for blog post #6 we had the opportunity to counterfactual blog #5. We had to imagine how things could turn out differently for our memoir. So, I have decide to read the 4 links below to help me rewrite my memoir. I want to explore the what ifs that I talked about in my memoir. I hope you guys enjoy this blog post. Please feel free to read the links and comment below.
It was a beautiful sunny but hot day in July. The flowers were blooming and beautiful. My mom had just came back from a partner of her ‘s daughter funeral. My sister Shamika and I was sitting at the kitchen table in our 3-bedroom apartment eating cereal “My sister Shamika asked my mom, how was the funeral today.” “My mom said sad, I don’t know what I would do if I ever lost one of my kids.” “I went on to say, hey guys can we change the subjects.” “I don’t want to talk about funerals it makes me sad and depress.” “My mom said that’s fine. Let’s talk about something else.” My mom went on to ask my sister was she pack and ready to go for her weekend trip. The ride going down there was smooth my sister said. She said they did a couple of stops until they out there. She said they had so much fun. My family could not wait until they came back, so that we can meet our other cousins. When Sunday morning came about they were on their way back to Philadelphia when something went wrong. It was around about 5:55 am when the accident happen. The accident took place in Delaware not to far from home. My cousin dad fell asleep at the wheel hit a tree causing minor damage to the front of the van. Everyone in the van was okay because they were wearing their seatbelts. They only had minor cuts and bruises. We were so nervous as hell and scared. My family didn’t know what had happen but we were happy that everyone came out alive. “I cried and cried.” “I said than you Lord that my family is okay.” “My mom said baby girl you don’t have to keep thanking God, he already heard us.” “I said I know mom but I want to thank him a hundred more times.”

Glad to see content here. During our conference, we can talk about this post and all of your writing in our course thus far. For now, I will ask you how did it feel to write this counterfactual?
