The Proust Questionnaire that became popular by Marcel Proust is something like my life and can be read on my blog page. Head over to my The Proust Questionnaire to find out more about me.
__1.__What is your idea of perfect happiness? Perfect happiness is when everything in your life is going right. When you have no worries, no concerns and no fears. Also, when you can do what your heart and mind wants you to do. Living out your best life with no regrets. __2.__What is your greatest fear? My greatest fear is dying. I used to think about it all the time, mainly when I went to sleep. There were some nights were I would have nightmares waking up in sweat. My husband trying to calm me down and have me think about other things. It has helped me over the years and now I am learning to pray when I feel like that. __3.__What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? A trait that I most deplore in myself is chicken. I don’t like any kind of chicken. No matter who makes it or what kind of chicken it is. People often tell me that I am not black because I don’t eat chicken or that I am weird. That’s okay! I will never eat it even if it’s the last thing on earth. Nope not me! __4.__What is the trait you deplore in others? The trait I most deplore in others is the way they talk and act around their children. Some people do not have respect for their kids at all. They talk and say whatever they want to around their kids in a nasty way. Parents wonder why their kids act and say the things they say because they hear it from them. __5.__Which living person do you most admire? The most living person that I admire is my mother. My mother is a strong, caring person with a great heart. She is always there for me and my family whenever I need her to be. She has dealt with a lot in her life but never complain about it. She is one of those people that will give you the shirt off her back and the food out of her house just to make sure you are okay. My mom is the best and that’s why I admire her so much. __6.__What is your greatest extravagance? My greatest extravagance is my bath and body works sprays. I have over 40 sprays and they are in different fragrances. Every time I get down to a half a bottle on some of them, I go and buy some more. Like five more to be exact. My husband always gets mad at me because he says that I don’t need that many. I love them though and you can never have to many as a woman. __7.__What is your current state of mind? My current state of mind right now is hoping that I do well in all three of my classes that I am taking right now. Currently right now I have a 3.25 GPA and I would like it to get better or stay there. I don’t want to have to repeat any classes. I just want to do my best. __8.__What do you consider the most overrated virtue? The most overrated virtue I think is friendship. I believe that friendship today is not the way friendship used to be. People are more enemies today then they have ever been. We as people must learn how to be friends and learn how to respect one another in all forms. __9.__On what occasion do you lie? I lie when I don’t want to do something. I will tell that friend that I must work or have homework to do. Instead of telling that person that I just don’t want to do it. __10.__What do you most dislike about your appearance? The thing I dislike most about my appearance is that my nose is big. Ever since I was a little girl I got tease about how big my nose was. People use to say damn look at her nose and that’s why her nose is big. What’s the crazy part about it is that my mom nor dad have a big nose. Now, that I am older and wear glasses, I don’t care what people say about my nose. __11.__Which living person do you most despise? There is only one living person that I despise of and that is Donald Trump who is the president of the United States right now. He is a lair and most importantly he does not have this country best interest at heart. We need a president who cares and loves this country, not someone that’s trying to bring this country down. __12.__What is the quality you most like in a man? The most quality I like in a man the most is the fact that he is caring and understanding. He takes his time getting to know you and the things you like. Also, being understanding to the fact that you might have children. __13.__What is the quality you most like in a woman? The most quality I like in a woman is the fact we are strong and independent. When we as woman are strong and independent we don’t need anyone for anything. We tend to lean on ourselves for the stuff we want to accomplish. We are at our best when we are strong. __14.__Which words or phrases do you most overuse? The words or phrases I use the most is happy, I can do it, what the hell, you got to be kidding me, why you do that and damn. __15.__What or who is the greatest love of your life? The greatest love of my life is my children. I am so happy that God lent them to me while I am here on earth and trust me to be their mom. They are the best gift I ever receive in my life. I love them with my whole heart and soul. __16.__When and where were you happiest? I was happy when me and my family visited Disney World this pass summer. I appreciate how these responses read as genuine and honest insights into who you are as a person and what you value in your life. As I am reading here, I look for potential memoir topics (the teacher in me) -- and I see potential stories about your relationship with you mother, your views on friendship, being too kind -- and if you are ready and willing...
